Day 2: Champasak to Bolaven Plateau

Head to the highlands of the picturesque Bolaven Plateau. Drive through beautiful countryside until you reach an impressive series of three waterfalls at Tad Lo. Continue to a plantation to learn how Lao coffee is grown.

Day 3: Bolaven Plateau to Champasak

Visit Champasak

Travel south to the region known as Si Phan Don or the 4,000 Islands. Here the Mekong is wider and dotted with thousands of small islands. Take a cruise to explore some of these peaceful islands and try to spot the rare Irrawaddy dolphins, end your day at the stunning Lippi Falls.

Take a short boat trip to nearby Don Daeng Island, where you can explore by bike. Pedal the flat roads and shady trails, chat with the locals, and enjoy the gentle pace of life. Enjoy a picnic lunch and visit some ruined jungle-covered pagodas before heading back to Champasak.
