Hidden Gems of Laos
This private tour includes the highlights of this fascinating destination, from enchanting Luang Prabang and the Mekong to laid-back Vientiane.
Welcome to Luang Prabang!
Upon arrival transfer to your hotel. After having a chance to cool off and relax from the trip, it's time to go exploring
In the late afternoon, climb Phou Si Hill for exceptional views of the city, the river, and the surrounding mountains. Stroll through the nearby night market and enjoy dinner at L'Eléphant, one of the best restaurants in the city.
Kuang Si Falls
Explore the charming streets of Luang Prabang and visit some of the most important temples in the city on this morning tour. After lunch drive to the beautiful Kuang Si Falls where there is the opportunity to take a refreshing swim. Return to Luang Prabang and visit a temple, home to both monks and nuns, where you will attend a traditional Baci blessing ceremony.
Luang Prabang and Pak Ou Caves
This morning head to the Luang Prabang peninsula, where the Mekong and Nam Khan rivers meet, and visit the impressive temple of Wat Xieng Thong. Climb aboard the elegant Nava Mekong boat for a shared scenic cruise to Pak Ou Caves. Moor and enjoy lunch on board at the foot of the limestone cliffs before returning to Luang Prabang.
Head to Vientiane
A 45-minute flight takes you to Vientiane, where you will be transferred to your hotel. If you prefer to discover more of the country and take this road trip, we can arrange overnight stops in pretty Vang Vieng or the mysterious Plain of Jars. Ask your consultant for additional information.
Vientiane
Travel out of town to visit the eccentric Buddha Park. Located on the banks of the Mekong, this park was created by a Lao shaman in the 1950s and is filled with more than 200 Buddhist and Hindu statues. Return to Vientiane for lunch at a charity restaurant where former street children receive training in the hotel industry. End your day with a city tour visiting the most important temples and monuments in Vientiane.
Goodbye Laos
Your tour ends today. After breakfast, a transfer will take you to the airport.
