Explore some of the most unspoilt villages in this largely unknown region of Laos and gain insight into the life of the colourful hill tribe communities. Visit a remote Akha village located 1000m above sea level and stop for a picnic lunch, then walk to a Hmong village that offers stunning panoramic views of this beautiful area.
Visit Nong Khiaw
Drive to Muang Khua, on the banks of the Nam Ou River, to board a private long-tail boat for a trip down one of the most scenic stretches of river in Laos. Sail to your simple riverside lodge.
